Well, better late than never!? It’s no secret that the entire wedding process had me pulled in every direction under the sun and my sweet blog was left in the dust. But because the post wedding activity depression is upon me, and I want to relive every moment and also perhaps since the end of my sweet sweet summer is eminent, let’s go back to June and party with my Flock of Beezy’s shall we?
The Place: Harlow House — Palm Springs, CA
Temperature: 125 degrees — chilled cocktails always on standby
The Flock: The greatest girls you’ll ever meet and the ones that kept a permanent smile on my face
The Party: Tiki bars, poolside massages and floating champagne coolers — it was the greatest weekend.
Our front door was pink. Need I say more? The Harlow House screamed Flamingo Bachelorette Party when I stumbled up it on Airbnb. The details fell into place from there. The cool mid century mod decor, crisp white marble and pops of pinks and blues had us all swooning.
The Flock landed and we headed to The Tonga Hut to dose ourselves in tropical libations, some were on fire, some were draped in flowers, but they were all throughly enjoyed. One place I knew I had to visit was The Parker Hotel. Our second night we stopped by for a drink before dinner where I met a striking man in metal and if you saw my instagram you may know a thing or two about a banana 😉 Our days were lazily spent floating in the pool, drinking and laughing, with endless girl talks and poolside massages.
Palm Springs is a girl after my own heart, tiki bars and rat pack music, mid century architecture and palm trees galore. Give these girls a camera and the greatest landscaping and you have a makeshift photoshoot in the middle of the 100 degree streets.
